ARTIST AT SEA
In June of 2023, Michel was invited to join a team of international scientists in Costa Rica as an Artist-at-Sea with Schmidt Ocean Institute. The work in this collection is part of this ongoing project about the deep sea and raising awareness about the importance of protecting these ecosystems from deep sea mining and other exploitation.
